News & Press Releases:
Grail Engine Technologies will be exhibiting at the Engine Expo 2013, in Novi, Michigan - October 21, 22, 23. Come visit us at Booth # EH407
The Grail engine looks much like a traditional two-stroke engine, but incorporates some weight-saving refinements that make it less expensive to manufacture. And its inventors at Grail Engine Technologies, Chapman, Kans., have only been working on it for about two years.
Wichita State University's Center for Innovation and Enterprise Engagement (CIEE) has awarded development grants to three business innovation projects.
The technologies were selected by the center's board of directors after a rigorous competition and evaluation by technical experts.
Innovations were chosen because of their unique ideas, potential for commercialization and likely positive impact on the region's economy and workforce. Grants ranged in value from $20,000 to $50,000 for year-long product and process development.
Grail Engine Technologies is featured in the June 18, 2012 print edition of Wall Street Journal. The WSJ showcased several engine technologies in a special "Innovations of Energy" section of The Journal Report. Grail Engine board member and investor, Vince Stephens is shown examining the engine prototype during testing at A&D Technology in Ann Arbor, MI earlier this year.
